Fighting Clowns ~~~ The Firesign Theatre In urging Congress to back military force, the President ruled out "enduring offensive combat operations," a deliberately ambiguous phrase designed to satisfy lawmakers with widely different views on any role for U.S. ground troops, double-speak at its finest! I'm beginning to lose track of Barry's wars; is this his 7th or his 8th? I suppose it depends on whether or not you count the current war in the Ukraine? Not to mention the new "Cold War" he's managed to goad Russia into. Still, it seems quite a lot for a Nobel Peace Prize winner, does it not? Shouldn't we allow the various and sundry puppet regimes that we and the British have set up to handle ISIS? After all, they're the ones whose heads will be rolling if ISIS succeeds. Something that Jordan, Syria, Turkey and others in the area have realized -- and have begun to respond to. Barry has never needed the consent of Con-gress to send his drones after ISIS or any other brown-skinned folks before; and look how well our interventions have worked out for us so far! You can see the invention of ISIS as a direct cause-and-effect of our earlier interventions! Oh, and did I mention Barry also proposed no geographic limitations where U.S. forces could pursue the militants? The authorization covers the Islamic State and "associated persons or forces," defined as those fighting on behalf of, or alongside ISIS, "or any closely-related successor entity in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners," i.e., Israel! If approved, this will give Barry and his successors the right to murder Muslims, not just in the Middle East, but anywhere throughout the entire globe. Look out London and Paris!
